About Heart Center Home

As a Cancer sun with a Taurus rising,

home is, and has always been, my favorite place to be

so I named my business after Center Road, the street I grew up on.

THE ORIGIN STORY

Passion for organizing has always been in me; I got it from my mama who got it from her mama. As a kid, I preferred organizing toys over playing with toys, and I famously spent playdates at my best friend Sarah’s house cleaning out her walk-in closet. Corralling the clutter and discovering long-forgotten treasures brought me great satisfaction.

I procrasti-cleaned before writing all my essays as an English major at Uconn, and went on to pursue a career in teaching where I enticed teenagers to read for pleasure by having an irresistible classroom library, organized by genre of course.

  • I’ve had the privilege of living and working in six different cities - including New York, Barcelona, Boston, and London - which entailed a ridiculous number of moves! I got really clear about what mattered to me when I had to make selections based on what would or would not fit in my suitcase, and I mastered the art of making a humble abode into a home.

The idea for Heart Center Home Organizing was born in October 2022 at a women’s leadership retreat in Mallorca. But I didn’t have the confidence to pursue it right away. Instead, I took a job teaching Entrepreneurship to high school students. Championing them as they built incredible businesses from scratch inspired me to “walk the walk” alongside them. So I built a side hustle that I referred to as “just a hope, a dream, and an Instagram page”, serving friends and coworkers via word of mouth. Everything shifted when I attended my first NAPO-CT chapter meeting in September 2025. Then I was ready to go all in.

My Organizing Philosophy

There are a few things you should know about me as an organizer

I believe organizing is a practice rooted in self-discovery. I aim to help clients feel integration across physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual domains.

My heart-centered approach is unhurried and intentional. It’s ADHD-friendly and integrates human-centered design principles tailored to your needs, pace, and lifestyle.

I am an eco-friendly organizer, and I take pride in determining the best ways to pass on well-loved items. There is reverence for each and every donation.

I like to work with clients on an ongoing basis, rather than a singular event. I seek to understand the way you live, so I can help you align your space with your values long-term.

My work is not about engineering an Instagram-worthy aesthetic that looks perfect but isn’t real or sustainable. It’s about co-creating an environment that fits you.

“As we begin to simplify, to let the clutter go, whether it is the clutter of desire or the actual material clutter and incessant busyness that fills every space, we recover our capacity to be sensual.”
